It may seem far away now, but we are already working hard on the sports day for all primary school children from regular and special education during the Christmas holidays.
The Winter Games day will take place again on Monday, December 23, which is provided by a collaboration between the youth sports coordinators of the Municipality of Baarn and Sports Center De Trits.
The Winter Games are a fantastic annual sports and games spectacle for children aged 4 to 13. We expect you in the Trits between 9:00 AM – 9:15 AM because we start the sports day at 9:15 AM. The children are divided into three age groups and a separate group for children from special education and have their own permanent group guidance during the entire sports day. They are challenged during various sports and games activities with components such as freerunning, badminton, kickboxing, table tennis and breakdance.
These activities are supervised by various trainers/sports clubs from Baarn. For children with a swimming diploma, the day will end with a swimming festival in the pool from 1:30 PM to 2:45 PM (pick up/go home at 2:45 PM). For children without swimming diploma, the day ends earlier, namely at 1.30 pm!

Costs are €5,00 for the entire day. Fruit and drinks will be provided, we ask that you bring your own lunch and a bottle of water and of course your gym clothes/swimming gear.
