She’s back from Made in Chelsea, making way for Muffin (that’s Julia ‘Muffin’ Pollard, of course) and other wonderfully unhinged newbies who now appear in the latest series of the reality show, charting their lives and bedroom adventures for those that are local. London’s main road.

But while fans of the reality TV show are hungry to see Olivia ‘Liv’ Bentley, there’s one male fan who’s in luck.

I can reveal the lucky guy is 37-year-old Rory Hamilton-Brown, a former cricket star who was thrust into the Surrey captaincy at the age of 22, something Liv wouldn’t have noticed.

Hamilton-Brown played rugby for Harlequins and England youth teams before deciding to concentrate on cricket.

“I’ve never seen cricket in my life,” Liv, 30, admitted to me at Chelsea’s Glebe Garden gallery, which this week hosted the launch of Table 72: The Girl Without a Filter, by Liv’s friend Michelle van Talder.

But, as the saying goes, Hamilton-Brown made a maiden.

He and Liv have been quietly dating for the past five months, he tells me; enough time, Liv assures me, for him to devote himself to cricket.

Rory Hamilton-Brown, 37, is a former cricket star dating Chelsea’s Olivia ‘Liv’ Bentley. The pair appear here at the Glebe Garden Gallery on November 11.

Chelsea became Chelsea’s longest-serving star until Liv left earlier this year to focus on her business, JOMO, which aims to “break the taboos around sexual wellness and sexuality.”

He first joined Rory, who was educated at the £57,000 one-year Millfield School in Somerset, while watching another game.

“We met at Hurlingham (Fulham’s club) one night during the Euros,” explains Liv, who earlier this year was Chelsea’s longest-serving star and focused on her business, JOMO, which aims to “breaking the taboo around sex.” Well-being and sensuality’.

“We have friends in common, but we’ve never met,” Liv adds.

Hamilton-Brown knows all about the quirks (and cruelties) of fate. He enjoyed early success at Surrey, leading the team to promotion in 2011.

But in 2012, his teammate and housemate Tom Maynard, a school friend, was electrocuted on a railroad track and killed by a train after fleeing police who stopped him for driving erratically.

Devastated by this tragedy, Rory left Surrey to play for Sussex. But a wrist injury forced him to retire in 2015, at only 27 years old.
