As high-profile as the cast was, the imagery of the elaborate campaign was a mess: the main subject shows Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal in front of a breathtaking panorama, snow-capped mountains and a gray winter sky. The two of them are wearing cashmere turtlenecks, T-shirts and of course the Louis Vuitton backpacks, and this is where things get really strange, climbing ropes and sleeping mats. Doesn’t sound realistic? Doesn’t look like it either. So much so that it was even suspected that the image was created with the help of artificial intelligence. But this is refuted by a nicely edited making-of, which shows: Nadal and Federer actually faced the wild winter weather and, dressed in elegant designer clothes with impractical leather backpacks, pretended that they had been climbing in the mountains.
