The game between the Sacramento Kings and Brooklyn Nets will take place on November 25th. Tip-off at the Golden 1 Center is at 3:00 a.m. German time. The hosts are under pressure after recent poor performances as they have only won one of their last four games. Their otherwise strong offense has weakened significantly recently, as shown by the meager score of just 88 points against the Los Angeles Clippers. Key players like De’Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis deliver consistently, but the team has massive problems with three-pointers and ball losses. Against the Clippers, the Kings only hit 20% of their threes and committed 15 turnovers. In addition, coach Jordi Fernandez has to compensate for the absence of Malik Monk, Isaiah Crawford and Mason Jones. In order to be successful again, they have to become more efficient in finishing and control the ball better.
The Nets are also struggling at the moment, with only two wins from their last eight games. Their offense shows potential and ranks 8th in the league with an offensive rating of 114.6 points per 100 possessions. Cameron Johnson and Cameron Thomas are particularly impressive; they recently scored 55 points together against the Philadelphia 76ers. However, the many turnovers cause big problems, as the 19 turnovers in the game against the 76ers show. Coach Jacque Vaughn will also be without Bojan Bogdanovic and Day’Ron Sharpe. The only way to get back on the road to success is to stop losing the ball and play a more aggressive defense.
