San Francisco medals in the Evita – DiarioSports

This Saturday the Evita National Sports Games ended and San Francisco athletes managed to win medals in their respective sports.


With the last day of activity, where several sports were defined, a new edition of the Evita National Sports Games ended in the city of Mar del Plata. There was a San Francisco presence there with very good results and obtaining medals in their respective activities.

In the first instance in judo, the Córdoba team made up of San Francisco judokas Trinidad Ribodino, Julieta Taborda and Joaquín Arri, with coach Analuz Acosta, emerged as team champion. While Joaquín Arri became champion and gold medal in the men’s +64 category and Julieta Taborda finished third and with a bronze medal in women’s +64.

In Goal Ball, the Córdoba team finished in third place, with a bronze medal, and Alejandro Kunkel from San Francisco was present. This sport is for blind people and Alejandro is a member of the Córdoba national team for the second consecutive year.

Finally, Abril Araya, a volleyball player from San Francisco, was part of the Santa Fe team that won the gold medal in women’s volleyball. It should be noted that Abril is playing in Villa Dora in the capital of Santa Fe, a team that represented that province.
