Multi-sports event in the Coffee Region. After three weeks of competitions in the first National Youth Games, the Santander delegation ranked fourth in the top conventional and inclusion sports competitions, which were held mainly in the Coffee Region.
The delegation of our department, with full support from the Government of Santander and InderSantander, was only surpassed by the sports powers of Antioquia, Valle and Bogotá, sections that have a great economic and logistical resource, along with a greater number of athletes. present in the competitions.
In the balance of the medals achieved, Santander added 67 medals, of which 19 were gold metals, 21 silver medals and 27 bronze achievements. As sports, the golden achievements of Canoeing (5), Sailing (4), Skating (3) stood out and with a gold medal the following stood out: Athletics, Judo, Taekwondo, Wrestling, Golf, Weightlifting and Track Cycling.

Individually, the following stood out: Héctor Julián Morales López from Canotaje with three golds; Jean Paul Liechti Villegas in Sailing) and Héctor José Bayona in Skating), with two golden achievements.
The first places for Santander were achieved thanks to Canoeing (5), Sailing (4), Skating (3), and Athletics, Track Cycling, Judo, Golf, Taekwondo, Wrestling and Weightlifting, with a golden podium.
There were 21 argentum conquests, silver places thanks to Water Skiing (4), Wrestling (3), Canoeing (3), Squash (3) and with a silver podium in Taekwondo, Athletics, Archery, Skating, 3×3 Basketball, Judo, golf and track cycling.

Paranational Games
In the Paranational Youth Games, Santander, thanks to swimming, paracycling and athletics, took fourth place, thanks to its 20 gold medals, 23 silver places and 16 bronze podiums. Bogotá took first place with 41 gold medals; Valle del Cauca was second with 32 gold and 25 silver; Antioquia closed the podium with 32 gold metals and 22 silver.
For Santander, the top ‘conqueror’ of medals was the para swimmer Santiago León Prada with seven gold places. León Prada was first in: 200 meters individual medley SM6; 50 meters S6; 100 meters breaststroke SB6; 400 meters freestyle S6; 100 meters freestyle S6; 50 meter freestyle S6 and in the 4×100 meter free relay-34 points.
Likewise, he was the designer for the golden metals department of Ledis Marcela Riveros Clavijo in Paracycling. The athlete added four golds thanks to her first places in the Kilometer category B, the BB Tandem Time Trial, the BB Tandem Individual Road test and the 3000 meter B Individual Pursuit.
