Santander completed 16 gold medals in the National Youth Games of the Coffee Region.
Santander continues to expand its medal haul in the National Youth Games of the Coffee Region, where it recently added three more golds, to complete a total of 16.
In this way, the delegation from the ‘Land of the Chicamocha Canyon’ rose one place in the medal table, where it is now sixth.

In its accumulated, Santander registers, until this Tuesday afternoon, November 26, 16 gold medals, 19 silver and 27 bronze.
The most recent first places came through two disciplines: canoeing and judo.
Héctor Julián Morales López won the C1 1000 m category of canoeing, beating Cristian Fernando Ávila, from Bogotá, and Erlin Mosquera Moya, from Valle.
Likewise, Cristian José Rivero Bautista imposed his law in K1 slalom.

José Domingo García, from Córdoba, and Alejandro José Ladeuth, also from Córdoba, completed the podium.
Meanwhile, Keiner Stiveen Sánchez Garnica achieved first place in the 73 kilograms of judo, after winning over Emanuel Alexánder Rodríguez, from Bogotá, who was second, and Yeison Santiago Quejada Moreno, from Antioquia, as well as Deivid Stick Rodríguez Delgado, from Meta, who shared third place.
The 16 Santander golds, by sporting disciplines, are distributed as follows: sailing (4), skating (3), canoeing (2), taekwondo, wrestling, weightlifting, judo, golf, track cycling and athletics.
Among the most successful athletes are the sailor Jean Paul Liechti Villegas and the skater Héctor José Bayona Fonseca, both with two gold medals.
