The Colombian Sara López went from less to more until she won the gold medal in the compound bow modality of the Archery World Cup held in the Mexican city of Tlaxcala.
López reached the ninth title of her career with a 147-146 victory over Estonia’s Meeri-Marita Pass.
In the final, the Colombian only had three hits in her first six shots and found herself below Pass, but she recovered in her next nine attempts and with consecutive scores of 10, she beat the Estonian.
