Scottie Pippen Jr: “Career High in Chicago? A dream”

In the 142-131 victory of his Memphis Grizzlies, still without star Ja Morant, he was the son of art Scottie Pippen Jr. to take the reins of the team. The point guard born in 2000 signed a monstrous performance of 30 points and 10 assists in 31 minutes, with an exceptional 81.3% from the field and 50% from three points.

Interviewed on the microphones after the match, the 24-year-old appeared visibly excited and proud of the level he managed to show in his last outing of the season:

It’s a dream come true. Thinking of having scored 30 points and distributed 10 assists in the arena where my father played for so many years excites me. My father told me to get on the field and show what I’m capable of

Scottie Pippen Jr.

The son of six-time NBA champion from ’91 to ’98 he took full advantage of the Grizzlies’ many absences to carve out an important role for himself in the league. At the start of the regular season, Pippen Jr. is averaging 12.6 points, 5.9 assists and 3.9 rebounds, proving himself fully capable of withstanding the very high pace of the NBA.

Thanks to his first Triple Double in his career, recorded last November 8, he also became the third father-son duo in league history to reach this statistic.
