Second point of the season for the VTR on the third matchday of the badminton district league

(Bückeburg / Rinteln) On October 27th, the first team competed in the third matchday of the current season.
The Weserstadt team started in Bückeburg with a team thinned out due to the loss of some regular players.

In the first match of the day against Tus Germania Hohnhorst the score was 4:4. Dominic Kirstein and Joschua Müchler lost in three sets in the men’s doubles, as did Fabian Korte and Andreas Winter.

The ladies Olga Koczewski and Tabea Korte fared better, winning clearly in two sets. Olga Koczewski continued her strong performance in the individual. Only Dominic Kirstein was able to prevail in the men’s singles, Andreas Winter and Joschua Müchler were unsuccessful in their games. Fabian and Tabea Korte won the point for the draw in the final mixed doubles.

In the second match against SG Eilsen/Bückeburg/Bad Pyrmont, just like in the first game, only the women scored in two sets in the doubles. Olga Koczewski won the women’s singles in two sets. The Bückeburgers were able to book all other games into their account, so that in the end it was 2:6 from the Rintelners’ point of view.

The next game is on November 9th in Hanover, then it’s time to keep our fingers crossed for the Rinteln players in the fight to stay in the league.
