PANJIM: The Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs will be conducting selection trials to depute Goa State teams at the 68th National School Games to be held at Madhya Pradesh. The selection trials will be held as follows:
For Kabaddi (U-17 boys and girls), the venue is Multipurpose Indoor Hall, Fatorda, Margao on November 7.
For Badminton (U-14 boys and girls and U-19 boys), the selection date is November 8, 2024 at Manohar Parrikar Indoor Stadium, Navelim and for Badminton (U-17 boys and girls and U-19 girls), the selection date is November 9, at Manohar Parrikar Indoor Stadium, Navelim. The reporting time is 9.30 am and in-charge is Manthan Adpaikar TSO Salcete (Ph. 9094762221) and Aditya Sangelkar TSO Sanguem (Ph. 9923698016).
For chess (U-17 boys and girls), the selection date is November 8, at Multipurpose Indoor Hall, Fatorda-Margao . The reporting time is 9.30 am and in-charge is Shailesh Gaonkar TSO Ponda (Ph. 9823120623) or Prakash Velip TSO Dharbandora (Ph. 7030638967).
The eligibility for kabaddi, badminton and chess U-14, U-17 and U-19 boys and girls are as follows: U-14 group: Born on or after 01-01-2011 and 6th to 12th class; U-17: Born on or after 01-01-2008 and 6th to 12th class; U-19: Born on or after 01-01-2006 and 6th to 12th class.
Participants should be regular enrolled students of the school/jr college they represent and shall report to the incharge office on respective dates at 9.30 am with their school ID cards/sports cards and 3 passport size photographs.
