From October 29 to 31, our older students, supplemented by selected players from the Olomouc region, took part in a game training camp in Hungary under the banner of the Regional Football Academy.
On the trip to Hungary, both categories of pupils played a match against Slovan Bratislava. 2×45 minutes were played and both Olomouc selections played a more than even match against one of the best Slovak teams. The 15-year-old managed to win 3:2, while the younger category U14, on the other hand, lost by a goal.
The match against Slovan was followed by a transfer to Györ, Hungary. The expedition found accommodation in a hotel at the stadium of the home club ETO.
On the second day, the players devoted themselves to evaluation and video analysis of the match against Slovan, completed a training unit at the center of the Györu academy and spent the afternoon touring the city.
At the end of the camp, both categories played matches against teams from the renowned academy of Honvéd Budapest, which regularly supplies Hungarian football with young talents for league and national team football.
