The championship of Series A2 return to the past. In the 2024/25 season the cadet category is once again a single round, with 20 protagonist teams and 38 matchdays. The league kicked off on September 29th and the regular season will end on April 27th. They are expected 8 midweek shiftswhich will always be played on Wednesdays on 2 and 16 October, 6 and 13 November, 15 and 29 January, 19 and 26 February.

SERIE A2 2024/25: PLAY-OFF, PLAY-IN AND PLAY-OUT DATES
Once the first phase is over, time for the play-offs. With the exception of the first-placed team, which will go directly up to Serie A. An option that will make the championship more competitive and competitive than ever. The teams that finish between second and seventh place will compete for the second ticket to promotion. Added to these will be the two winners of the play-in, the new format which will be introduced for the first time in the 2024/25 season. In the first round the 13th place team will face the 10th place, with the 11th place doing the same to the 12th place. In both cases, a single match will be played on the pitch of the team that finished best in the standings. The two winners will face the 8th and 9th placed teams, in the same way. From these matches the names of the last two teams that will participate in the play-offs will emerge.
The last, decisive part of the season includes best-of-five series. The first two (plus any game 5) will be played at the home of the team that achieved the best placing in the regular season, while games 3 and 4 will move to the home of the other. The play-offs will be held between 8 and 18 June, the date on which the name of the second team promoted to Serie A will also be known.
As regards relegation, the last ranked team will drop directly to Serie B. The play-outs will determine which other two teams will not remain in Serie A2. Two challenges are planned: on one side the 16th will face the 19th, on the other the 17th will face the 18th. Also in this case the series will be played as a best of five, with the same sequence adapted for the playoffs (home-home-away-away-home).
