(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Kim Dong-chan = Shin San-hee (Sejong City Hall) and Kim Da-bin (Gangwon Provincial Office) took the top spot in the men’s and women’s singles at the 79th Hana Securities Korea Tennis Championships (total prize money of 100 million won).

Shin San-hee defeated Park Eui-seong (Daegu City Hall) 2-1 (6-2 6-7 6-3) in the men’s singles final on the last day of the tournament held at Gimcheon Sports Town in Gyeongsangbuk-do on the 10th.

Also, in the women’s singles final held earlier, Kim Da-bin defeated Wihwiwon (Uijeongbu City Hall) 2-1 (4-6 6-4 7-6) to reach the top.

Shin San-hee won the Korean Championship in singles for the first time, and Kim Da-bin regained supremacy in two years after winning in 2021 and 2022.

Kim Da-bin won two gold medals in the women’s doubles match, where she teamed up with Kim Na-ri (Suwon City Hall) the day before.

The men’s doubles team was won by Son Ji-hoon (Gimpo City Hall) and Choi Jae-seong (Gyeongsan City Hall), and the mixed doubles team was won by Jeong Young-seok (Uijeongbu City Hall) and Kim Chae-ri (Bucheon City Hall).

The prize money for the men’s and women’s singles championships is 10 million won.
