A truly intense period for the JKA Judo Kwai Amiatino of Piancastagnaio which in recent months has toured Italy far and wide, from Genoa to Riccione, from Taranto to Policoro, with episodes also abroad in Slovenia with its own agonists obtaining excellent results and good indications for the continuation of the season.
Among the many notable results of the JKA of Piancastagnaio, the most recent one saw the company from Piancastagnaio excel at the recent CSEN Italian judo championships both with its own individuals and as a company. Many participants in Riccione with more than 1,000 participants and more than 140 companies present from all over Italy. The Pianese club was present with 7 athletes and the results were more than flattering with six medals and a 5th place.
The following obtained the national title in their respective categories: Alessandra Damario (a regular at these results); Tatasiana De Oliverira, who after a serious injury competed in a competition with a truly unexpected result; Francesco Porcelloni who, after more than 10 years, wanted to try his hand at a competition again and despite the new regulations (judo in recent years is like playing a new sport for those who have competed in the past) he immediately adapted, winning his category without problems .
The silver medal was awarded to the brothers Marika and Flavio Angelini who, together with Nicola Montigiani (5th place for him in a difficult category where he won 3 ippon matches), underwent a real tour de force in this last period.
Flavio Angelini, in fact, arrived at CSEN after 3 weeks of consecutive competitions which had seen him participate in the European Cup of Koper, the cadet grand prix of Policoro where, among other things, he collected an excellent 7th place out of 114 athletes participants, and in Riccione where he won his 4 fights all by ippon. It’s a shame about the final where perhaps he didn’t perform at 100%; the satisfaction remains for having led a season with truly excellent results-3
Marika Angelini also recently went around Italy where she took part in 2 Italian trophies (10th in Riccione and 9th in Taranto) and she too, like her brother, reached the final easily winning all her matches . It’s a shame not to have obtained the most coveted result but we are certain that he will have the opportunity to make up for it as soon as possible, like Nicola Montigiani who has a strong credit with the fortune that despite being the protagonist of excellent performances he is placed in truly prohibitive pools.
The last medal came thanks to Adamska Dominika who won a very good 3rd place with the belief that access to the final was anything but prohibitive for her.
In light of these results the JKA Judo Kwai Amiatino of Piancastagnaio was in 4th place in the club ranking in the rookie categories and 2nd in the general one.
