THE TIME: Mr. Mraz, how did you come up with the idea of naming the world’s first nuclear-powered icebreaker Lenin to perform Austrian art in the middle of the Russian Arctic?
Simon Mraz: I came to Murmansk on a business trip – and thought to myself that it would be crazy to have artists from the West and abroad here Russia could clamp together.
TIME: You implemented the project in 2013 with Stella Rollig, the then artistic director of the Lentos art museum in Linz…
