The head coach of Metalist 1925, Viktor Skripnik, considers Alexandria’s mentor Ruslan Rotan the best coach in Ukraine.
Skripnik’s words are reported by Ukrainian Football.
“Rotan. I’m impressed by how he works in terms of vision and playing the game. Ruslan is number one in this regard. Next, apparently, is Vernidub, who, with the set of players he has, holds the bar for the second year in a row. Dynamo is Dynamo. On Today the best Ukrainian players are gathered there. They have a team, Alexander Shovkovsky keeps the guys in good shape.
You can also name more than one coach who, at one time or another, showed himself well in Ukraine. But now the most stable coaches in Ukraine are Rotan and Vernidub,” Skrypnyk said.
The day before Alexandria lost points with Veres for the first time since October 5. At the same time, Ruslan Rotan’s team remains second in the standings, ahead of third Shakhtar by 4 points.
By the end of the year, the Alexandrians will play 4 more matches – against Chernomorets, Dynamo (they will play two matches with the Kiev team within 5 days) and LNZ.
Earlier, Rotan spoke about the possibility of inviting striker Artem Besedin and defender Igor Plastun, who are free agents, to the team.
