NEW YORK – Slovakian hockey forward Martin Chromiak scored during the Ontario Reign‘s big win in the night game of the AHL overseas competition over the Henderson Silver Knights 8:3. For the twenty-two-year-old winger, it was the second goal and third point in the seventh meeting of the season.
Dalibor Dvorský was also on the score sheet, but his goal was not enough for Springfield to score points. The Thunderbirds lost at home to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms 2-5. The 19-year-old forward scored the fifth goal and seventh point in the tenth game.
Slovak hockey forward Martin Mišiak scored a goal in the Canadian junior OHL competition and his team Erie Otters defeated Barrie Colts 4-0 on Sunday night. The 20-year-old winger collected ten points (5+5) in 12 duels of the current season.
Ondrej Molnár also scored, helping Sudbury Wolves triumph over Brantford Bulldogs 3:1. Juraj Pekarčík had one assist in the Moncton Wildcats’ 7-4 win over the Val-d’Or Foreurs in the QMJHL. The nineteen-year-old striker has already collected 15 points (3+12) in 14 games of the season.
