Snow chaos at the top game between the Green Bay Packers and San Francisco 49ers?

Winter has arrived in Green Bay. Three days before the big game between the Packers and the San Francisco 49ers, Lambeau Field is a snowy landscape. What are the predictions?

The further an NFL season progresses, the more uncomfortable the weather conditions can become at some venues. Lambeau Field in Green Bay, which is not nicknamed “Frozen Tundra” for nothing, is known for winter extremes.

Three days before the Packers’ top game against the San Francisco 49ers (Sunday from 10:25 p.m. in the live ticker) it’s that time again.

After a bout of winter in Wisconsin, the stadium is currently covered in a blanket of snow. Since Lambeau Field does not have a roof, the stands are also covered in snow – which would be dangerous for visitors given the game.

So is there a risk of snow chaos around the game? At least the weather forecast gives the all-clear.

Until the day of the game, temperatures are almost exclusively above freezing, sometimes up to eight degrees. There could also be light rain showers on Sunday. But there is no longer any talk of snow.

Given the rather mild temperatures, it can be assumed that the snow that is still present at the moment will have thawed away by kickoff on Sunday.
