The softball trainer training program on January 25th and 26th, 2025, which will take place as part of the DBV Convention 2025 in the Radevormwald sports and seminar center, will be led by national and international speakers. These include Greta Cecchetti, Saskia Kosterink, Nicole Broziewski, Isaia Lauvai and Lukas Lemberger.
- With Greta Cecchetti and Saskia Kosterink Two top-class international speakers were recruited who will talk about their experiences and expertise, particularly in pitching and hitting. Greta Cecchetti is a 95-time Italian international player. She won 4 European Championships with Italy and took part in 4 World Championships and the 2020 Olympic Games. She holds the Italian strikeout record and has also played in Australia, Japan and the USA, among others. She has been active as a pitching coach for many years. Saskia Kosterink’s playing career includes 151 international matches, 6 European Championships, 4 World Championships and the 2008 Olympic Games. She has been active as a coach in the Dutch Baseball and Softball Association since 2017, and this year she took on the role of national coach of the Dutch women’s national softball team.
- Nicole Broziewski will lead through a Baseball5 practice session in her role as national coach of the Baseball5 national team.
- Isaiah Lawway will provide input from the field of sports psychology. The sports psychology expert looks after the U23 and men’s national baseball teams, among others.
- Luke Lembergersports scientist and owner of an athletic training company, will share his expertise in the area of Strength & Conditioning. Among other things, he is active as a Strength & Conditioning Coach for the softball Bundesliga team of the Guggenberg Legionnaires Regensburg.
