The athletes resident in Piacenza and the clubs based in the city, who had not yet been able to officially receive institutional congratulations during the year, were awarded today, Friday 29 November in the ducal chapel of Palazzo Farnese.
The short ceremony was presided over by the mayor Katia Tarasconi and by the sports councilor Mario Dadatisupported by the CONI provincial delegate Robert Gionelliwho handed over the scrolls and expressed their compliments.

Naomi Manzi (Rowing Baldesio), Italian champion 4 of the Under 18 mix pair – title won in September at the Italian Clubs of Corgeno, who also collected the parchment for her teammate Maria Sole Perugino: silver at the University World Championships in Rotterdam in the lightweight doubles and winner of two golds at the Italian under 23s held in Varese, in the lightweight doubles and in the lightweight four sculls. Category, the latter, in which she was already holder of the European and world title.
Giacomo Carini (Fiamme Gialle), in the summer Piacenza cheered for him at Paris Olympicswhere he came close to reaching the final of the 200 butterfly, a specialty in which in March 2024, in Riccione, he won the 5th overall Italian title in his career, in a year that saw him come close to the Trofeo Sette by just 6 hundredths Colli di Roma, that Italian record of which he himself was the holder.
Alessandro Bozziniwhose 2024 shines with silver: it brought him the additional challenge of changing partners, from January this year Gloria Di Bella, with whom he took second place at the European artistic roller skating championships in Portugal, to debut together in an international competition, after also reaching the podium at the Italian Championships at the beginning of July.
Arianna Santacroce (Piace Skaters): winner of six Skate Italia Trophy titles – out of six up for grabs – thus imposing herself in the Italian Championship reserved for her category, Boys 12.
Samuele Paradisi (Like Skaters): Junior national champion, he was called up to the senior national team at the World Championships, despite his young age.
Adrian Gumanita (Piace Skaters): silver medal at the World Skate Games in Tortoreto in September this year, after the title of national champion in the time trial race at the Italian Downhill Championships in Rogno, where the Piace Skaters company – of which he is an athlete forward and coach – raised the name of Piacenza and he also obtained a second place in the cross specialty. This is 2024 by Adrian Gumanita.
Thomas Sassi (Judo Shiai) who in Lima, the capital of Peru, won the bronze medal in the World Judo Championship in the Cadet category in September, debuting a few days later in the 60 kg category at the European Senior Judo Cup in Podgorica, where he received praise from the European Judo Federation for his excellent fifth place.

G. Pettorelli fencing club: bronze at the Italian Championships for the men’s team and promotion to series B1 for the men’s épée team (double category advancement in two years), bronze at the Italian team fencing championships for the women’s saber team and promotion to B1.
Borgotrebbia tennis club: historic promotion to the A2 series, in the summer of 2024, for the men’s team, after the promotion to B1 obtained in 2023. Also worth mentioning is the victory in the regional championship for the under 12 men’s team category.
Pianeta Fell: promotion to Serie B, after the victory in the playoff final against Varese, for the Piacenza club: a milestone celebrated in October in a packed LPR Arena.
Calypso-finswimming: Italian champion in the men’s team ranking and second place in the general team ranking, as well as ninth overall position in the women’s ranking.
Asd Taekwondo Piacenza Only: at the Italian championships in Caorle he achieved two historic results for the City of Piacenza: gold and Italian title for Abdul Fataou Bance Senior -68 kg and a final fought to the last point – with victory for the opponent due to a referee’s decision – for Benthala Salma, his first experience in a championship of such importance.
Gaga Bike: victory in the Italian youth club championship: success in all six stages of the circuit, leaving the opponents more than a thousand points behind.
