The Sardinia Region has approved the ranking relating to the public notice addressed to local authorities in Sardinia for the implementation of redevelopment interventions on sports facilities. It is the tender published in September where the Sardinia region had foreseen an available financial allocation of 50 million euros, dividing the tender into three bands. In band 1, 16 million allocated for plants located in municipalities with a population of more than 15,000 inhabitants. Here the Municipality of Alghero joined, aiming to obtain the maximum amount of financing that can be granted for a single intervention, i.e. 500,000 euros for multi-purpose sports facilities, 300,000 euros for single-purpose sports facilities.
And to see the ranking (LAWS) of the applications admitted and financeable in band 1, Alghero shines for having achieved three important objectives:
1st – redevelopment, regeneration with safety and energy efficiency improvements and creation of the synthetic grass surface of the Carmine municipal football sports field with a contribution of €500,000, as requested, with co-financing by the Municipality of €125,000 for the total intervention amounting to €625,000.
Still the redevelopment of theMaria Pia tennis club sports facilityfinanceable amount and assigned €300,000, which is the total amount of the intervention.
Again the redevelopment, modernization, adaptation and safety of the Baseball field site in via Emilia for which €300,000 is allocated, which is the total amount of the intervention.
It is the content that is reflected today, of what the councilor Enrico Daga (WATCH) anticipated in an interview, who had decided to join the tender by presenting three projects, immediately ready for construction but not closed.
It was a race against time, with the designers forced by the times to work even at obsolete hours. Today’s result pays off for everyone.
Alghero takes home €1,000,100 to be allocated to sports facilities, and it is much more than a breath of fresh air, because it is the certainty that now the sports facilities receiving the contributions will be ready for construction and will finally change their skin.
Think first of all of the Carmine field, a neighborhood that will have a synthetic grass field, and also the Maria Pia baseball structure, together with the Tennis club which will have its indoor structure to be able to participate in the Serie A championship without worries of mind.
It is the revenge of the councilor for sports facilities Enrico Daga, who had been defined visionary for he had anticipated what was to be done.
Today councilor Daga is happy, he understands that he has brought home important economic resources, and above all he realizes that when there are projects, combined with ability and perseverance, the funding is there since the tenders are now almost on the agenda .
Enrico Daga, with this coup, demonstrates, just five months after taking office, that a change of pace is possible, because rather than feeling sorry for yourself, in this city you have to roll up your sleeves and pedal because unfortunately it has been at a standstill for years at the stake.
