The PTY Route, the Mayor’s agenda that fills the Capital District with activities every weekend, offers a varied menu in its programming this Saturday, November 23 and Sunday, November 24.
On Saturday the 23rd, starting at 8:00 am, the legendary Jesús “Master” Gómez gym, in Barraza, receives athletes from various combat disciplines for its reopening.
Star Combat, the program for the reopening of this boxing temple in the heart of El Chorrillo, will include Olympic wrestling matches, judo, muay Thai, kickboxing and, of course, boxing.
Shortly after noon, the Son Cultura Orchestra, of the Mayor’s Office of Panama, will celebrate Musician’s Day with an event with the public in the Heliodoro Patiño park, located in the town of Juan Díaz.
On Sunday the 24th, the Summit municipal park opens its doors to the Panamanian Flavors Festival, a unique experience that celebrates the best of our traditions, culture, gastronomy and connection with nature.
Starting at 10:00 am, visitors of all ages will be able to enjoy a varied program that includes folkloric presentations, delicious typical Panamanian dishes, artisanal drinks, as well as an exhibition of crafts and products from local entrepreneurs.

Shortly before, in Panama Norte, from 6:00 am, cycling and cardio lovers will be able to enjoy the Recreovía de Panamá Norte. The route begins in the Plaza del Lago and the activity will last until noon.
On Sunday afternoon, the activity moves to Parque Urracá, where an Afternoon of Drums will take place starting at 4:00 pm. It will be a day full of joy, rhythm and energy, promoting values and raising our voices in defense of global campaign celebrated every November 25.
