Born and raised in Chieti, with 146 appearances for the national team, many of which as captain, and a career full of successes with prestigious clubs such as Fortitudo Bologna, Olimpia Milano, Pallacanestro Cantù and Reale Mutua Torino, the “Mancio” is an icon of the Italian basketball. The numbers speak for him: two Italian championships, two Italian Super Cups, 119 appearances in the Euroleague and 27 in the Eurocup. Over the course of his 17 seasons in Serie A1 and 5 in Serie A2, he scored 5369 points, grabbed 2886 rebounds and distributed 958 assists, consolidating his reputation as one of the greatest players of his generation.
