The Warriors ruled out Stephen Curry for Saturday’s game against the Houston Rockets but said he will be re-evaluated Sunday, possibly paving the way for his return Monday against the Wizards in Washington.
The base of the Golden State Warriors, Stephen Currywas cleared to participate in segments of the team’s practice Friday night in Houston, the team announced.

Saturday will be the third consecutive game that Curry be lost due to left peroneal strain suffered on October 27 against the LA Clippers.
De’Anthony Melton, who also left that game with a back injury, will miss his third straight game on Saturday.
Melton is making “good progress,” according to the team, but will be reevaluated again in a week. That would rule him out for the Warriors’ next four games.
Melton has had to deal with multiple back injuries, which Warriors coach Steve Kerr says will influence how the team deals with this current ailment.
It is considered probable that Andrew Wiggins be present for Saturday’s game in Houston, as he suffers a lower back injury.
