Steve Kerr not afraid of provocations from Celtics fans
When the pregame announcers called Kerr’s name, Celtics fans booed in chorus. If that wasn’t interesting enough, Kerr gave a hilarious response to fans. He head coach just waved when the boos got louder:

Steve Kerr had been the subject of debate among fans after his decisions regarding Jayson Tatum‘s playing time during the 2024 Olympics. Tatum saw minimal action during Team USA matchups, and Kerr returned to the topic before Wednesday’s Warriors-Celtics game.

“Do I regret anything? We can’t control history… We won the gold medal… I didn’t enjoy not playing with Jayson… They’re not fun decisions, but our guys were amazing,” Kerr said.

NBA expert Brian Windhorst revealed a key factor which led Kerr to bench Tatum.

“Jayson Tatum shot very, very poorly from the three-point line all spring,” Windhorst said on the Hoop Collective podcast. “In the first round against the (Miami) Heat, he shot 29% on three-pointers. In the second round against the (Cleveland) Cavaliers, 27%. And in the conference finals against the (Indiana) Pacers, 31%, and in the finals against Dallas, 26%. He shot poorly from the three-point line in training and shot poorly from the three-point line in warm-up games. “That was a factor.”

Steve Kerr no longer worries about Team USA’s rotations as he is now focused on how best to optimize the Warriors’ lineup for 2024-25. Despite Stephen Curry’s early injury, Ker and the Dubs have discovered an effective rotation. Can they keep their foot on the accelerator and remain at the top of the Western Conference?
