Increasing its contributions to Turkish sports, Medicana became the official health sponsor of Konya Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club Basketball Team, which competes in the Turkish Insurance Basketball League. Many important names, as well as representatives of Medicana Health Group and Konya Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club, attended the signing ceremony held in Konya. According to the agreement, Medicana will undertake the health services of the club’s A Team and all youth basketball categories during the 2024-2025 season.
Konya Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club President Yavuz Kızılaslan stated that this valuable cooperation will make great contributions to both the clubs and the development of Turkish sports. While Kızılaslan thanked the Medicana family for their support to sports, he emphasized that this partnership will be a good example of private sector and local government cooperation.
Medicana Health Group CEO Reha Özkaya stated that they continue to support sports. Özkaya stated that Medicana undertakes important sponsorships in many branches such as football, volleyball and basketball, and that they are also active in the international arena, and said that the agreement made with Konya Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club Basketball Team is an important step in their contribution to sports. Pointing out the importance of sports, especially for healthy generations, Özkaya stated that they were proud to support the lower age categories within the scope of the agreement.
