The Indonesian National Futsal Team has started well in the 2024 AFF Cup. The Red-White Team won a landslide 9-0 victory over Cambodia.
Playing at Terminal 21 Korat, Nakhon Ratchasima, Monday (4/11/2024), afternoon WIB, Indonesia was able to score seven goals in the first half. Two quick goals were scored by Muhammad Iqbal in the first minute and Firman Adriansyah in the second minute.
Indonesia’s lead increased a minute later. Cambodian player Setha Sachakboth scored an own goal.

Indonesia added goals via Samuel Eko (5′), Iqbal (9′), Wendy Brian (15′), and Guntur Sulistyo Ariwibowo (19′).
In the second half, Indonesia added two more goals. Muhammad Syaifullah found the net for Cambodia in the 31st minute and Muhammad Nizar got his name on the scoreboard in the 35th minute.
With this victory, Indonesia is in the top position of Group B of the 2024 AFF Futsal Cup. Indonesia collected three points.
Meanwhile, Australia and Myanmar are in the next position with one point after drawing 3-3. Cambodia is in the bottom position with 0 points.
In the next match, Indonesia will face Australia. The match takes place, Tuesday (5/11) tomorrow, at 10.30 WIB.
