Successful courses for the Ippon Girls and Power Boys

Both judoka brought valuable experience and tips that they were able to pass on to the young athletes. In addition to judo, the program included topics on personal development, team building and various team challenges, which helped the girls to strengthen themselves away from the judo mat. At the end of the course there was an autograph session and the opportunity for selfies with the star trainers.

At the same time, the Power Boys course took place with star trainer Karl-Richard Frey. Karl-Richard Frey, Olympic medalist, vice world champion and multiple Grand Slam medalist, gave the boys aged 12 to 17 insights not only into the technique and tactics of judo, but also into the world of international judo sport. In a question and answer session, he answered personal questions and gave tips for sporting and personal development. In addition to the judo training units, the participants also had topics on personal development and team challenges.

A special highlight for all participants was the joint bowling event with the Ippon Girls and Power Boys, where the young people were able to strengthen their team skills away from the judo mat.

Both courses were a complete success and offered the young people the opportunity to gain valuable experience and further strengthen their enthusiasm for the sport of judo.
