Great performance for the Taiwanese team, capable of winning for 4-0 in the wolf’s denbeating Japan using only four runs scored in the fifth inning.
This time the new winners are superior and have scored eleven hits against the four scored by the Japanese, blocked in attack in a match resolved only by two outfielders, scored first by Lin Chia-Cheng (one point) and, subsequently, by a super Chen Chhieh-Hsien (three points).
Taipei’s response was therefore significant as it closed group B al second place giving way to the men of the Rising Sun, losing 3-1 at home. A trend that also continued in Super Roundwhere Japan won 6-9.
Third place was instead conquered by United Statesable to get the better of Venezuela 6-1 in a final that was never really questioned. The stars and stripes team, after finishing in second place in group A right behind the South Americans, finished the Super Round in last place, reversing the situation like Taipei only in the final clash.
