Former tennis star Boris Becker mourns the loss of his mother Elvira. This was confirmed by Becker’s lawyer Christian-Oliver Moser.
Accordingly, Elvira Becker died on Thursday at the age of 89 in her apartment in Leimen, Baden-Württemberg. According to information from the “Bild” newspaper, the six-time Grand Slam winner is said to have immediately made his way to his hometown from his adopted home of Milan.
Becker received the sad news one day before his 57th birthday. Becker’s father Karl-Heinz died in 1999 as a result of cancer.
