Terres-de-Caux, land of future champions?

Terres-de-Caux has eleven sports associations which bring together some 850 members. Among them, young athletes who train daily in Fauville-en-Caux and in the other delegated municipalities, many of them distinguishing themselves at regional but also national or European level.

Thirteen years old and already ten years of practicing judo

These young champions, who stand out in different sporting disciplines – football, full-contact, judo, swimming and cycling – were received in the village hall of the delegated commune of Bennetot, by the mayor of Terres-de-Caux, Jean-Marc Vasse. 36 in number, they were rewarded for their sporting achievement of the year. Among them, Loanne Lozier, French vice-champion in full-contact in the point-fighting section, or Shaya, Tiago and Fytie Lethuillier who stand out in judo, in European tournaments in particular.

Another commended athlete, Noé Soyer-Lelièvre, 13, who has been practicing judo since the age of 3. Third in the departmental championship, champion of Normandy and 4th in the French championship, his goal is to turn professional: “The next step for me will be to join the Pôle Excellence in Rouen or Caen to become a high-level athlete. »
