It wasn’t the first time that the traveling and global Steelers Nation took over a stadium for themselves. It wasn’t until mid-October, at the away game in Las Vegas, that the Steelers fans took over the Raiders’ Allegiant Stadium. This particularly impressed head coach Mike Tomlin and his players.
Tomlin even began his postgame press conference with a shoutout to fans: “I think the first thing that needs to be said is that I’ve been overwhelmed by the support of our fans, the Steelers Nation. They’re always there. I thought “It was just great. The atmosphere in an away stadium was special to be a part of.”
