Sens 89 Telethon Team
The Telethon returns in 2024 in several Senonese municipalities including Paron where the Zumba will take place and in Sens for the race.
Telethon actions at the end of November
A lottery will be organized in Paron on November 30 by Odile, member of the town’s gymnastics and table tennis associations. All places are already filled.
Also on November 30, the Carrefour Voulx store hosts a stand selling €2 envelopes, all offering a prize to be won.
November 30 and 1is December, the 4×4 Club Evasion 89 in Egriselles-le-Bocage offers a sporting weekend on the Four à Chaux grounds with pancakes, mulled wine, hot chocolate and raclette on Saturday evening.
For their part, the Yonne Fire Brigade will leave by bike from Thorigny-sur-Oreuse on November 30 at 7 a.m. They will pass through Saint Valérien at midday then head towards Auxerre.
Telethon actions at the beginning of December
Soucy karting is organizing the 10 a.m. Telethon from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on December 7. All profits will be donated to the Telethon.
At the initiative of Xavier Le Calvé and Marie-Laure Bouard, the Sens 89 Telethon is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. Their actions carried out since its creation have made it possible to raise nearly 28,000 euros. The team has grown but the organizers are still looking for new volunteers.
Their traditional giant Zumba will take place in a room at the Roger Treillé sports complex on December 7 from 3 p.m. and will be hosted by Sandrine Mansiot and Sandra Chatelain De Pinho (Fun Color Fitness association).
The Telethon race will take place on December 6 from 7 p.m. starting from Place Jean-Jaurès and, like every year, at the same time as the Christmas Corrida organized by the Sens town hall and Sport Challenge enterprise.
