The holiday calendar for 2025 was complete after the publication in the Official Gazette of the decree that establishes three additional days for tourism purposes. These dates are Friday, May 2, Friday, August 15, and Friday, November 21.
With this scheme, three extra long weekends are added to the traditional ones, where the rest is extended to four days. It should be noted that these days are classified as “non-working days”, so they do not have the same mandatory nature as holidays.
In total, the year will have six long weekends and three “XXL” weekends.
In turn, there will be six long weekends in the year, with Fridays or Mondays in that condition.
