IN CAPRIE “THE APPLE AND SURROUNDINGS” SUNDAY 10 NOVEMBER, THE WHOLE PROGRAM
CAPRI – “Enjoy while walking” is the motto of the twenty-second edition of “The apple and its surroundings” a Capri. On Sunday 10 November, the market exhibition of local and artisanal products opens in the morning along the streets of the town. As always there is the pomological review with display of Valsusine apples. The Ludobus delle Valli is ready to bring joy and games for everyone, activities designed for all ages. The homemade apple-based dessert competition is back again this year. A qualified jury will evaluate the taste and appearance of the desserts, decreeing the final ranking: prizes will be awarded to the winners and all participants will receive a nice gift. The great novelty of this edition of “La Mela and surroundings” will be the delicious Pan Pum, an ancient recipe for a dessert from times gone by, with genuine flavours, made with simple ingredients to help people discover and get to know the tastes of our tradition.
SPACE FOR TASTE
In Martyrs Square “Pan pum” the dessert of the peasant recipe of Capri. Then the polenta and wild boar by the Friends of the Mountain Association, and the mulled wine by the Alpini of the ANA and to close the “Cuore della fruit” apple fritters. In Piazza San Rocco the agnolotti with ragù, butter and sage and green anchovies prepared by Borgo Traduervi of Susa. Beyond the Sessi stream, Abruzzo’s kebabs, sandwiches with porchetta, Fassona hamburgers and fried potatoes “Like once upon a time”, sweet and savory crepes “L’isola delle crepes” and “Pum al cucinarin”.
