The Aragonese Basketball Federation, Zaragoza Municipal Sports and Casademont Zaragoza they organize the Aragonese Basketball Festival, which will take place on the weekend of November 30 and December 1.

He Aragonese Basketball Weekend will coincide with the celebration in the pavilion Prince Philip of the meetings of the Casademont of the ACBwho will face the Surne Bilbao (Saturday, 8:45 p.m.) and the red team of the Women’s Leaguewhich will be measured at IDK in Basque Country (Sunday, 12:15 p.m.). Two matches in which both teams will wear the new black kit called ‘a new skin’.

The activity will aim promote basketball, promote the values ​​of the sport and highlight the solidarity of the Aragonese basket sport. In this sense, funds will be raised to install a swing adapted for boys and girls in wheelchairs in the Alborada Special Education School and a ball signed by the players of the legendary Spanish team that won the silver medal at the Olympic Games in Los Angeles will be raffled off.

Tickets will be priced at 10 euros for each of the meetings, and you can also attend both meetings for 15 euros.

The presentation event took place on Tuesday, November 12, in the Príncipe Felipe pavilion, with the presence of the president of the FAB, Jose Miguel Sierra; the general manager of Casademont, José Antonio Artigasthe manager of Zaragoza Deporte Municipal, Jose Antonio Martin; e Isabel Ansonvice president of the Ampa of the Alborada Special Education School.

The general director of Casademont explained that “Tickets will be sold at popular prices and one euro will be donated from the price of each ticket to the Alborada School”said Artigas, who highlighted that “The objective of this celebration is to highlight the values ​​and solidarity of basketball and to promote it, the players from the Casademont first teams will visit some schools in the coming days.”
