The 2024 Barracu’Stache Tournament was an unmissable event for baseball fans. Organized by the Montpellier Barracudas, this tournament offered much more than simple sporting events last weekend at the Greg-Hamilton baseball park, in the heart of the municipal domain of Veyrassi.
A derby open to the best hitters
Under the theme of the mustache, in support of the Movember movement, this event highlights awareness of men’s health issues, particularly cancers affecting men.
Part of the profits from the weekend will be donated to the League Against Cancer.
These Saturday November 15 to Sunday November 16, the teams competed against each otherés in matches lasting an hour and a half each, in a sporty and relaxed atmosphere.
To top it off, the tournament offered a home run derbywhere the best hitters competed in the elimination rounds for the championship title.
The weekend was also an opportunity to enjoy friendly meals and chat around the refreshment bar. With strong moments of competition and a solidarity dimension, the Barracu’Stache tournament allowed its participants to experience a unique weekend. And during which the mustache was much more than an accessory, even if it was a hairpiece!
