The facility has always been a structure dedicated to baseball and softball, given in concession to Legnano Baseball Softball. As foreseen by the agreement stipulated between the club and the Municipality of Legnano, during the winter months the field has for years been occasionally used by youth football teams. However, its primary purpose remains to host baseball and softball activities, and our company manages its maintenance with commitment and dedication.
It is important to underline that the turf is carefully looked after by Legnano Baseball Softball, which takes care of keeping it in optimal conditions. Contrary to what the article might suggest, the quality of the pitch is not the result of a recent intervention aimed only at football, but rather of the continuous work of our club and agronomist Paolo Bergamo to best preserve the pitch for baseball activities and softball.
As for the new changing rooms, it is true that the youth football teams use them for a few months a year. However, these locker rooms were built primarily for the needs of our baseball and softball teams, who are the real users of the facility most of the year.
It is important, therefore, to remember that the facility in via Cesare Battisti remains the realm of “beat and run,” as rightly mentioned in the article. The temporary use by youth football teams is a concession, not a new destination. We hope that these clarifications can contribute to a correct understanding of the management and use of the system.
