He threatened one of his peers with scissors for a few euros while they were on the train. Then he tried to escape, without success. It happened in Varedo, where on Monday 4 November a 22-year-old was identified and reported by the police for an aggravated robbery on board the train coming from Milan Affori and heading to Camnago/Lentate.
The military intervened around 12 at the Bovisio Masciago station, where they collected the complaint from a young man who had turned to the Desio Company’s operations center via the single number for emergencies 112. Here, he says MonzaTodaythey then reconstructed what happened, ascertaining that the boy, on board the train, after having approached the young victim, threatened him with scissors and had a small sum of cash handed over to him and then fled. More precisely, getting off the train at the previous Varedo stop.
The police therefore concentrated their searches for the twenty-two-year-old in the immediate vicinity of a disused industrial area and, thanks to the description provided of the young man who had been robbed, they finally tracked him down and identified him. Accompanied to the barracks, the twenty-two year old was then reported as being at liberty while the sum of money was returned to the robbed boy.
