This weekend of November 16 and 17, the young people from the Trèbes-Carcassonne badminton club were on all the courts.
On November 16, during the first youth tournament of the season in Limoux, Badminton Trèbes-Carcassonne (BTC) shone among 118 participants aged 7 to 18, with 26 young competitors from the club.
They did better than participate and finished first. Thanks to their remarkable performances, the BTC ranked first in the Badnet club rankings, confirming its status as the best certified badminton school in Aude for 2024-2025. The young people train in Trèbes and Carcassonne and many have obtained notable results: Clément: 1st in cadet; Hanaé: 1st in junior girl; Antoine: 1st in youngest; Marissa: 1st in junior ranked; Coline: 1st in chick; Tristan and Lucas: semi-finalist and finalist in junior in a very tough field. Fleur: finalist in ranked minimal and Charlie: finalist for his very first tournament in minimal.
The same weekend, the regional team and the 5 departmental teams of the BTC were engaged for the interclubs in Argelès-sur-Mer.
The appointment is made for the next day which will take place at Cosec de Trèbes, Saturday December 14 for young people and Sunday December 15 for adult interclubs.
