The collaboration of the Cultural Deportiva Guarnizo together with the Muñiz Judo club and the Casa de Valencia in Cantabria, in which businesses and thousands of people have participated, collecting a total of 20 tons of material, food and basic necessities.
Los products sent to Valencia They are distributed on pallets inside a trailer and will be mostly deposited at the Blasco Ibáñez School in Benetússer, the place from which the products are being distributed to the most affected towns.
With the donations, special materials have been acquired such as bilge pumps, engine oil and pressure washerswhich will allow you to clean the area more easily. All the material will be stored in the San Marcelino Falla (Valencia) and delivered personally by Cantabrian volunteers who will go down to Valencia.
VOLUNTEERS
A work group will move to the affected area. 13 volunteerscomposed of 9 off-duty national police officers and 3 civilians. This group is scheduled to travel to Valencia in 6 vans of large size loaded with specific work material.
Volunteers will stay in the affected area until sunday and they will be organized in pairs to go to the points already marked by affected volunteers, where the severity of the situation is more extreme and they require help and special material.
