In recent years, the possibility of playing padel at the Ingré tennis club has made it possible to revitalize the structure, which is very popular with amateurs.
Since 2019, the Ingré tennis club has offered the practice of padel, with two indoor courts. Very quickly, this activity met with immense success. Between 6 and 11 p.m., the fields are often full, proof of the popularity of this sport.
And, in 2021, the arrival of Théo Enjalran at the club marked a turning point. “The padel allowed the club to gain new momentum. We welcome more people and, financially, it is not negligible for the club,” explains the coach.
Lands planned outside
Indeed, padel has helped to boost the club, which today offers an annual membership as well as tournaments organized throughout the year. The activities are numerous and attract an ever-wider audience. The club is evolving and is already planning, in the more or less long term, to acquire two outdoor fields to meet demand.
Concerning tennis, the club continues to retain its members while working to increase the competitiveness of its members. These efforts reflect the desire to maintain a balance between the two disciplines and to ensure constant progress.
