Investigations by the security services at the Cairo Security Directorate revealed the circumstances in which female football team players were robbed of their mobile phones while they were participating in a match in a sports club in Nasr City.
Details of the theft of phones from female soccer team players inside a club in Cairo
The security services of the Cairo Security Directorate received a notification from the Nasr City Police Department that included a report from female football team players who reported that their mobile phones had been stolen while they were in the team’s locker room inside a club in Nasr City.
Immediately, the Cairo security services moved in, and by conducting the necessary investigations, the Cairo investigation services discovered that behind the incident was a cleaning lady with criminal information who ignored the players while they were in the locker room and stole their phones.
After codifying the procedures, the security services of the Cairo Security Directorate arrested the accused. It was found that she was a cleaning worker residing in Giza, and that she took advantage of the presence of the players inside the locker room and the lack of cameras and stole phones from them.
Female football team players had their mobile phones stolen while participating in a match against another team inside a sports club in Nasr City. After completing the match, they discovered that their phones were not there, as it turned out that 8 of the girls’ phones had disappeared.
A team of investigators moved to the scene of the incident and reviewed the surveillance cameras and questioned those present and those responsible for the club. The technical examination and investigations revealed that the incident was committed by a cleaning lady working in the club and an assessment in Giza Governorate.
The necessary report on the incident was drawn up, the necessary legal measures were taken, and the Public Prosecution in Cairo was notified to initiate investigations. The stolen phones, 8 in number, were recovered from the accused, and confronting her, she confessed to committing the incident in detail, and the players identified their phones.
