The event took place today at the Gran Canaria Arena facilities.
The Gran Canaria Basketball Club held its traditional Christmas Cocktail today. Antonio Morales, President of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria, attended this event; Augusto Hidalgo, Vice President of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria, Aridany Romero, Sports Councilor of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria and Pedro J. Brito, Finance Councilor of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria, as well as sponsors, players and coaching staff of Dreamland Gran Canaria and media of communication. Sitapha Savané, president of the Gran Canaria Basketball Club, acted as host at this classic Christmas meeting in which different members of the club’s Board of Directors were also present.
The president of the yellow club made an emotional toast to thank the attendees for their presence and also for their unconditional support throughout the season, ensuring that the club would not be where it is “without the support of all entities.” In addition, he took the opportunity to wish “happy holidays and health” for the next year 2025. After the toast, everyone present took a group photo that took place on the track of the Gran Canaria Arena.
The players and coaching staff of the first team, who behind the FIBA windows, are preparing for this Thursday’s match against Trefl Sopot, shared a great time with sponsors, collaborators, members of the Board of Directors and journalists. Everyone present enjoyed a pleasant evening at a new Christmas cocktail from the Gran Canaria Basketball Club.
