By opening up to brown belts then to cadets, the Hirsonnais Tournament is establishing itself as an increasingly popular meeting with judokas from Aisne, primarily from Athies-sous-Laon, represented in Thiérache by no less than seventeen competitors. For the North, the Attices club had moved ten judokas. In total, among the youngest, 61 boys and 13 girls found themselves on the tatamis in the Carpentier room.
Still among the brown belts, in juniors-seniors, in addition to the victory in less than 90 kg, of Hirsonnais Michel Gadisseux ahead of Stevy Ruchot (ACAMA) and Christophe Delbecq (Wallers-Arenberg) the victories of Julien Bauchet (Bushido) were recorded 02), Haffaf (Denain), Demarque (Wallers-Arenberg), Khuddev (Flers Sart), Bigot (La Neuville) and Pillier (Denain).
With 45 competitors, the premier category of the day gave rise to particularly competitive fights. Among the women, De Kerpel (Villers-Cotterêts), Dolean (Caudry) Marcos (Beautor), Dalmat (Athies-sous-Laon), Darricaut (Gauchy) and Hannecart (Thiérache judo) were crowned.
Among the boys, in less than 66 kg and less than 81 kg, two members from Athies-sous-Laon, Anthony Luszka and Gabriel Énès, stood out. In the category of over 100 kg, present for more than ten years, Claude Carpentier (Athies-sous-Laon) takes second place, beaten by Landry Crépelle (Espoir du Tardenois).
