Feeling upset, she had gone to her maternal home a few days ago without informing her husband. This made the husband even more angry. After returning, unable to tolerate her husband’s taunts and quarrels, she decided to climb the tower and jump.
Police arrived before Savita could reach the electric wire. Constable Vimal Jaiswal advised Savita to get down from the tower and assured her that her problem would be solved.
