They are two of the new faces of Unicaja Mijas for this season, but Bridget and Brianna Herlihy have already turned the Women’s Challenge League and the team upside down, in which they have fit perfectly. Born in the United States, but one international with Ireland and the other with Venezuela, and who now face the challenge of taking the Malaga team to higher levels. The Unicaja Mijas revolution this summer began with them. Bridget and Brianna, two sisters born in Braintree, Massachusetts (United States), joined the team to strengthen their internal game. Despite being Americans, the Irish and Venezuelan blood that runs through their veins has led them to integrate perfectly into Javier PĂ©rez de los Reyes’ team, earning the affection of teammates and the respect of their rivals. Brianna is so far the top scorer in the Women’s Challenge League (15.33 points per game), while Bridget is the third most valued player in the competition (16.83 credits).

Both players review their history, in which they have remained united for almost all of it and are now reliving in Malaga after a year apart.
