Eric Boillée, president of the club since 2008, who took over after Jean-Charles Moranda, for teaching in 2019, was one of the first students of the club created on November 19, 1974. The anniversary took place thanks to a meticulous organization from a formidable team, “with respect for everyone, allowing us to make our dojo in perfect harmony”. A dojo is quite simply a school of life, a hierarchy, respected by all: a teacher and his students, assistants, a steering committee, members and all those who work to maintain the life of the dojo. dojo
“It’s a big family! “, continued the president. “These 50 years will remain engraved with the happiness of having experienced them during our lifetime. » He made it clear that “this event was held in our dojo in order to keep this traditional spirit and to bring together a large number of participants”.
Eric Boillée first asked to respect a minute of silence for the missing who worked around Jacky Baptiste, a first teacher: the presidents Josy Goutorbe, Isaac De Juan, Jean-Pierre Gevrey, Christian Thouvenot, treasurer, who was at the alongside Eric since the beginning of his presidency, Yann Boillée, son of Eric, licensed judoka who died on May 10 of this year, as well as a thought for Patricia, wife of Elie Perriot, former brown belt judoka, present as first deputy and departmental advisor..

Françoise Wurms, founder of the Bourbonnais Judo club, was present. She had the excellent idea of taking her children every week to practice judo in Nogent. Nicole Rocard also went there for her children. It’s Jacky Baptiste, 3e dan, who taught. He then agreed to come and teach in the spa town
Classes began at the Montmorency gymnasium in 1974. Until 1977, teacher Jacky Baptiste taught the classes. Then, he passed the baton to Jean-Charles Moranda, 4e dan, who served from 1977 to 2019. The latter was appointed principal teacher. He passed the torch to Eric Boillée, 3e And. Patrick Lugenbuhl, 3e dan, worked hard as did many black belts, like Paul Thivet.

The Judo-Club has had nine presidents: Josy Goudorbe, Isaac De Juan, Yves Riou, Jean-Pierre Frison, Jean-Pierre Gevrey, Bernard Georgin, honorary president, Thierry Claude, Eric Bulani and Eric Boillée since 2008.
The Bourbonnais club has always participated in the life of the commune: “Play sports!”, “Relay of life”, Telethon, etc. ; numerous training courses and sporting events were organized: jujitsu, refereeing, katas, samurai/mini-push, large tournament nicknamed “Grand Prix Bourbonnais” with record participations of up to nearly 390 judokas…
Judokas have reached the interregional and national level: Nicole Gevrey, Sébastien and Stéphanie Botschi, Brice Boillée, Maud and Lyse Boyer.
A kata demonstration was close to Eric Boillée’s heart, for the preparation and for the tribute to his son Yann.
The birthday afternoon ended with a friendly drink. A succulent meal was served at Le Clocheton with the participation of 98 guests. The table plan was beautifully decorated, with souvenir photos.
Moment of emotion: a superb 50th birthday cake was brought by Aurélie Laville, treasurer, accompanied by Virginie, Eric Boillée’s wife so that he could blow out this candle.
