Kazakhstan national team under the leadership of a Russian coach Stanislav Cherchesova set an anti-record for the League of Nations. The team did not win a single victory in six matches and conceded 15 goals without scoring a single one in return. Thus, Kazakhstan became the worst team in terms of goal difference in the entire history of the tournament.
Let us remind you that in the first round of the Nations League, the Kazakhstan national team played a draw with Norway, and this was followed by five defeats in a row – two each from Slovenia and Austria, as well as one from Norway in the last round.
As a result of the tournament, Kazakhstan was relegated to the lower division of the League of Nations – Group C.
